well as per my experience they need renovation and the new interior but for a bugdet hotel it is fine to stay there as u get cheap and near to golden temple and 2 minutes walking distance from temple.

1st of all it is located on the back side of the golden temple and auto drivers from station ask you more to pay for this, we got an auto for Rs 150. We reached there, owner was old and friendly, our room was not ready so had to wait for sometime in our another room(We were family of 6 so took 2 rooms there), Rooms/Bathrooms are small but it is ok if you are getting the rooms in 500-600 Rs as we were only there for 5-6hrs during night for sleep and in next day at 5 we have our train. Remember it is on the back side of the golden temple and golden temple has a entry from backside too so one can come easily from the back side if remember while walking from the asha guest house, We didnt noticed and we have to walk all the side to the front gate.Auto was arranged by the hotel owner at 4AM, It could be much better if beds/cover/pillows are with white color as it presents neat and clean look to the customers, rest all ok , just remember to use the backside gate to enter the golden temple.

we also lived here because i love differant place to lived in city here best view room and good staff we love veg food and nice juice all kind . we can get good tranports best and not far airports we can go again VERY CLEN CITY..

I booked ac room from make my trip. It costed me around 500/- for a day.. I stayed here with my family. Toilet was dirty.. intercom was just for show off.. they dont provide soap, water, towel in the room.. everything is chargeable.. for AC we need to contact reception again n again.. TV provided in the room is not good.. they even dont provide blankets... i could get more hotels in the same budget...

I stayed here for 3 nights and had a wonderful stay. The location is perfect, just a 3-5 minutes walk from the Darbar Sahib Langar Gate and lots of food options available nearby. There is a pharmacy and bakery next door too. I used to book Ola bikes and those riders found this location quite central and easy to find too; just ask for Parag Dass Chowk. The room was spacious and clean, the washroom and bed linen hygienic. Overall I had a very comfortable and economical stay here. 100% recommended.
